News PHOTO CALL: Secrets of the Trade at The Black Dahlia Theatre Los Angeles' Black Dahlia Theatre is currently presenting the world premiere of Secrets of the Trade by Jonathan Tolins (The Twilight of the Golds, The Last Sunday in June).

Tony Award winner John Glover (Love! Valour! Compassion!, The Drowsy Chaperone) heads a cast that also includes Amy Aquino and Bill Brochtrup. According to press notes, Secrets of the Trade is the "story of Andy Lipman, a smart, ambitious kid from Long Island who dreams of a career on Broadway and hopes his idol, Martin Kerner, can give it to him." The piece is described as "a hilarious and heartbreaking look at the complications of mentorship and the painful mysteries of a life in the theatre."

The Black Dahlia Theatre is located at 5453 West Pico Boulevard in Los Angeles. Tickets and information may be found at thedahlia.com.
