The play is a deep look into the world of two second-rate Hollywood casting directors, played by Ethan Hawke and Josh Hamilton, and the people that are influenced and destroyed by their way of life. At left, Hawke, seen above Twelve Angry Men director Scott Ellis, arrive at the opening reception held at The Lotus Club on West 14th Street in New York City. Below, director Scott Elliott is seen with playwright Rabe. The party was sponsored by Details Magazine and Lacoste.

Hurlyburly is scheduled to run at Theatre Row's Acorn Theatre through March 19.
