Miramax Films presents the Scott Rudin Production. The film is set in a 1964 Bronx Catholic school and centers on a nun who suspects a priest of wrongdoing. Shanley directs his own screenplay for the film, which features Streep as Sister Aloysius Beauvier, Hoffman as Father Brendan Flynn, Adams as Sister James as well as stage and screen star Viola Davis as Mrs. Muller.

The film is expected to hit movie theaters Dec. 12 for a limited release. For more information visit doubt-themovie.com.
