News PHOTO CALL: Sills and Mazzie Board the Twentieth Century for Actors’ Fund Concert The Actors’ Fund of America has lined up yet another top of the line cast for its yearly benefit concert. Broadway stars and Tony Award nominees Marin Mazzie (Ragtime) and Douglas Sills (Little Shop of Horrors) will lead the cast in a performance of the 1978 musical On the Twentieth Century.

The popular musical by Betty Comden, Adolph Green and Cy Coleman is based on a play by Ben Hecht and Charles MacArthur that was seen in an adapted version by Ken Ludwig (Lend Me a Tenor) on Broadway two season’s ago.

At left, Sills and Mazzie are seen during an open rehearsal for the concert on Sept. 20. Below, the entire cast of On The Twentieth Century poses for a group picture at the 42nd Street Studios.

The benefit conert is set for Sept. 26 at the New Amsterdam Theatre in New York City.
