Sneak Peek at Sutton Foster in "Bunheads" Season Finale, "A Nutcracker in Paradise"

TVLine.com reported that eight episodes of creator Amy Sherman-Palladino's quirky show — about a directionless dancer (two-time Tony Award winner Foster) who lands in a small town where she spars with her mother-in-law (Tony winner Bishop), a local dance teacher — are likely, with shooting to begin this fall for a 2012 second-season debut.

The title refers to the hairstyle of classical dancers. In the first season, Foster's Michelle Simms, a former Vegas showgirl who once aimed higher, has slowly bonded with a quartet of young teen dancers in the sleepy town of Paradise, CA. Michelle encounters a gaggle of supporting characters in the series from the creator of "Gilmore Girls."
