Stephanie Pope and Belle Callaway of Chicago sang "Nowadays" for the 2002 Stars in the Alley May 29, while Howard McGillan crooned The Phantom of the Opera's ballad, "The Music of the Night."

Held in Shubert Alley between 44th and 45th Streets, the 50-minute concert included appearances by Kathleen Turner, John Stamos, John Lithgow, Steven Weber and performances from Oklahoma!'s Patrick Wilson, Thoroughly Modern Millie's Gavin Creel, Into the Woods' Kerry O'Malley and Stephen DeRosa, Mamma Mia!'s Tina Maddigan and Joe Machota and The Full Monty's Annie Golden.
