News PHOTO CALL: Stay for the Opening Night Festivities The world premiere of Lucy Thurber's Stay officially opened March 19 at the Rattlestick Playwrights Theater.

Jackson Gay directs the new work, which closes out the downtown company's season. Previews of Stay began March 11; the limited engagement will run through April 15. In Thurber's Stay "a young writer, in the darkest moments of her youth, discovered an angel," according to a show synopsis. "Having achieved great success, she must now learn to let go of this beautiful gift, all the while struggling to define and accept herself in the absence of this muse and savior."
