Schoenfeld received the Joan Warburg Award for his "humanitarian work for the nonprofit arts." Lansbury — who spent 30 years as the Acting Company's Board Chairman — was presented with the John Houseman Award, which honors the producer's "commitment to the development of classical actors and a national audience for the theatre." Broadway favorite Bernadette Peters performed a tribute to Schoenfeld and Lansbury in song.
