The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, based on the Mark Twain novel of the same name, features Joshua Park as the boy on the brink of manhood in pre-Civil War Missouri, who lives with his Aunt Polly (Linda Purl), finds love and adventure with Becky (Kristen Bell) and generally gets in and out of trouble with his gang of friends, including Huckleberry Finn (Jim Poulos). Grammy winner Don Schlitz crafted the score with a book by Ken Ludwig (Lend Me a Tenor). Scott Ellis directs the new musical, currently playing at Broadway's Minskoff Theatre.
