It's Urinetown all over again — John Rando and John Carrafa reteamed to stage The Pajama Game for City Center Encores! May 2-6. Carrafa is up for two Tony Awards in 2002 — for Urinetown and Into the Woods - while Rando got the nod for Urinetown.

The Pajama Game is a musical comedy love story set in a pajama factory, where the new foreman is trying to get his bearings in his new position while his workers threaten a strike for a 7 and 1/2 cent pay raise. The Adler and Ross score includes "Hey There," "Hernando's Hideaway" and "Steam Heat," famously choreographed by Bob Fosse in the original production.
