Lewis J. Stadlen, the Jackie Mason-esque character at the heart of 45 Seconds from Broadway, reunites with his former The Man Who Came to Dinner co-star Jean Smart at the Nov. 11 Broadway opening night party for 45 Seconds.
Neil Simon's 45 Seconds from Broadway (a reference to the old George M. Cohan song "45 Minutes from Broadway") pays homage to Time Square's Edison Cafe, known in theatrical circles as "The Polish Tearoom." The cast features Marian Seldes, Alix Korey, Lewis J. Stadlen, Kevin Carroll, Judy Blazer, Bill Moor, Julie Lund and Dennis Creaghan with Louis Zorich, David Margulies, Rebecca Schull and Lynda Gravatt.
