Kate Whoriskey (Ruined) directs the production with Breslin ("Little Miss Sunshine") and Pill (The Lieutenant of Inishmore, "Milk") as Helen Keller and Annie Sullivan, respectively. The cast also features Matthew Modine ("Short Cuts", "The Band Played On"), Jennifer Morrison ("House M.D.", "Star Trek"), Elizabeth Franz (Death of a Salesman), Tobias Segal, Daniel Oreskes, Michael Cummings, Simone Jay Jones, Yvette Danier and Lance Chantiles-Wertz.
The piece, according to press materials, is set in Tuscumbia, Alabama in the 1880s and "tells the story of the young Helen Keller, who became blind and deaf after a childhood illness, and the extraordinary woman, Annie Sullivan, who taught her to communicate with the world."
