Based on Savage's memoir "The Kid: What Happened After My Boyfriend and I Decided to Go Get Pregnant," the musical The Kid tells "the true story of what happened when sex columnist Dan Savage and his boyfriend decided to create a family," according to New Group notes. "Step one: Convince an adoption agency and homeless teenage mom that two gay men are the perfect parents for her child. Step two: Convince themselves."
The cast features Sieber, Jill Eikenberry, Lucas Steele, Jeannie Frumess, Michael Wartella, Susan Blackwell, Ann Harada, Brooke Sunny Moriber, Kevin Anthony, Tyler Maynard and Justin Patterson.
The Max Martin musical features a number of his most beloved songs, including “…Baby One More Time,” “Roar,” “Since U Been Gone,” “It’s My Life,” “I Want It That Way,” “Can’t Stop the Feeling!,” and more.
