Doubt and The Pillowman - which were given separate consideration for the first time this awards season as a homegrown and foreign bred piece – will face off one final time as each vies to win the Tony Award for Best Play on June 5.

At left, McDonagh and actor Brian F. O’Byrne of Doubt (and a veteran of McDonagh’s Leenane trilogy), as well as The Pillowman actor Michael Stuhlbarg and Marian Seldes are seen at the ceremony. Below, Manhattan Theatre Club Artistic Director Lynne Meadow, Doubt director Doug Hughes and producer Scott Rudin enjoy the evening at the Algonquin Hotel on West 44th Street in New York City.
