The Pirate Queen, based on the novel "Grania-She King of the Irish Seas" by Morgan Llywelyn, will begin Brodway previews at the Hilton Theatre on Feb. 23, 2007, following a Chicago engagement from Oct. 3 - Nov. 26, 2006 at the Cadillac Palace Theatre. Stephanie J. Block stars as Irish Chieftain Grace O'Malley, leading a cast of 39 that includes Hadley Fraser (Tiernan), Linda Balgord (Queen Elizabeth I), Marcus Chait (Donal), Jeff McCarthy (Dubhdara) and William Youmans (Bingham). At left, Hadley Fraser jumps into the arms of Stephanie J. Block. Below, book writer Alain Boublil, Stephanie J. Block, Hadley Fraser, composer Claude-Michel Schönberg and director Frank Galati gather together.
