Meow! The catty girls at the center of the Roundabout Theatre's revival of The Women took a...pause at Urinetown's opening night. The Women begins previews at the American Airlines Theatre Oct. 12. The satiric Urinetown is set in a futuristic urban world where residents must "pay to pee" due to a drought that has plagued the land. Urinetown, which stars John Cullum, Hunter Foster, Spencer Kayden, Jennifer Laura Thompson and Jeff McCarthy, opened Sept. 20 at The Henry Miller after a one-week delay caused by the Sept. 11 World Trade Center tragedy.
