They're both known for their film work — Jennifer Tilly starred in "Bullets Over Broadway" and "Bound," while Coolidge has gained a whole new generation of fans as Stifler's Mom in the "American Pie" movies. Now they're working together as two of Roundabout's The Women. In Clare Booth Luce's The Women, Kristen Johnston stars as Sylvia Fowler, the most cosmopolitan and conniving of the play's many distaff schemers, gossips and cheats. Purportedly a good friend to Mary Haines, the virtuous and suffering wife played by Cynthia Nixon, Sylvia nevertheless talks endless dirt about her pal, who is in danger of losing her husband (never seen) to the cheap and flashy shop girl Crystal. Filmdom's Jennifer Tilly plays the vulgar counter jumper. The Women plays at the American Airlines Theatre through Dec. 30.
