"It's a little frightening for people to get into your life that much, but I don't have anything to hide," Stritch told Playbill.com in an earlier interview about the film project. "So, I'm open. There's no point in doing a documentary unless you absolutely deliver the 100 percent truth. Energy-wise it's very hard work." When Stritch made her Town Hall debut in fall of 2011,  a host of Broadway leading ladies shared their own words about the remarkable performer.
