Carl Andress (The Divine Sister) directed the 7:30 PM evening that celebrated the lifelong collaboration of Betty Comden and Adolph Green. The evening was dedicated to celebrated stage actress Lynn Redgrave, who lost her battle with cancer in May.
Tony Award-winning director Hal Prince was the guest of honor for the celebration. The theatre veteran shared his experiences of working with Comden and Green on such musicals as A Doll's Life and the Tony Award-nominated musical On the Twentieth Century.
