The cast of Cabaret and friends, including Candy Buckley, Michael Hayden (Cliff Bradshaw), Carole Shelley (Fraulein Schneider), Dick Latessa (Herr Schultz) and Martin Moran (Ernst Ludwig) welcome "Caroline in the City"'s Lea Thompson (center) to the show Aug. 2 with a party at Cafe Un Deux Trois.
Thompson, a vet of such films as "Red Dawn" and the "Back to the Future" trilogy, recently played Sally Bowles in the touring company of Cabaret, and replaced Joely Fisher in the Broadway revival now playing at Studio 54.
