Aida's Heather Headley and Sherie Rene Scott pose with two canine friends at the second annual Broadway Barks benefit. A rescheduled Broadway Barks took over Shubert Alley July 22, in place of the original July 15 event, which was cancelled because of wind and rain. Broadway Barks encourages adopting abandoned or lost pets through FIDONYC (www.fidonyc.org), an animal welfare organization, founded two years ago by Bernadette Peters and Mary Tyler Moore. Among Broadway stars in attendence were Bebe Neuwirth, Patrick Stewart, Tom Wopat, Joel Grey, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Adam Pascal and Howard McGillin.
