News PHOTO EXCLUSIVE: Beyond the Barricade at Salt Lake City's Les Misérables With Josh "Javert" Davis New York based actor Josh Davis is in Salt Lake City this month bringing law and order to Pioneer Theatre's new production of Les Misérables. He shares these photos from backstage and the rehearsal process.

"Six years ago I had the honor of performing in the first ever regional production of Les Miz at the Pioneer Theatre," says Davis. "In that production I played Feuilly, along with a few other parts. We ran for a historical 10 weeks to sold out crowds who came from all over the map to see the show."

"I was ecstatic this past February when I got a call from my agent with the news I would be going back to Pioneer, but this time in the role of Javert. Not only would I be able to play the part I'd been wanting to play since I was in high school, but I would have another chance to work at the Pioneer."

"This is one of the best regional theaters I've had the opportunity to work in - and it's nestled in one of the most beautiful places in the US, set right on the edge of the Wasatch Mountain Range. We're now in our second week of performances and I'm having an amazing time. With a host of new friends and a few old ones, along with some great off-stage adventures, this is truly one of the best times of my life."
