Kevin Cahoon stars as Dr. Frank-n-Furter in the Bucks County Playhouse production of Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show, which began performances Oct. 23.

In addition to Cahoon (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang), the cast features Nick Adams (Priscilla Queen of the Desert) as Rocky, Jeremy Kushnier (Jesus Christ Superstar) as Riff Raff, Steve Rosen (The Other Josh Cohen) as Dr. Scott/Eddie/Narrator, Alyssa DiPalma (American Idiot) as Magenta, Nick Cearley (All Shook Up national tour) as Brad, Lauren Molina (Sweeney Todd) as Janet and Jennifer Cody (Shrek, Urinetown) as Columbia. Local actors cast in the production are Sarah DeNight, Brian Graziani, Alex Kryger and Erica Nicole Rothman.

The Skivvies, comprising Rocky Horror cast members Cearley and Molina, will perform a late-night Nov. 1 concert at the playhouse, including special guests Alice Ripley (Broadway's Rocky Horror, Next to Normal) and members of the Bucks County cast, including Adams, Kushnier and Rosen.

The creative team includes David L. Arsenault and Wilson Chin (set design), Nicole V. Moody (costume design), Travis McHale (lighting design), Ed Chapman (sound design) and Alex Harrington (music direction).

Lorin Latarro, who was the associate choreographer on Broadway's Hands on a Hardbody and choreographer of Scandalous, choreographs.

The Rocky Horror Show, with book, music, and lyrics by O'Brien, is "a musical that inspired the 1975 classic cult film, 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show,'" according to press notes. "It follows innocent couple Brad and Janet as they seek shelter at a mysterious old castle on a dark and stormy night, where they encounter transvestite Dr. Frank N Furter, his 'perfect' creation Rocky, and an assortment of other crazy creatures."

The Bucks County Playhouse is located at 70 South Main Street in New Hope, PA. For more information and tickets, call (215) 862-2121 or visit BCPTheater.org.
