Broadway at the Boat Basin, Riverside Park Fund's annual benefit Gala, was held June 20 at the Boat Basin Café in the historic Rotunda in Riverside Park.

In a statement Benanti said, "I have run, walked, played, lounged and enjoyed every minute of my time in Riverside Park. It is a rare blessing to have such a beautiful oasis for people from all walks of life. It is my absolute honor to contribute through song to the preservation of this New York treasure."

Her song list included "Let Me Entertain You"/"They All Laughed," Sondheim Medley ("So Many People"-"No One Has Ever Loved Me"-"Loving You"), "Steps of the Palace," "Alright, Ok, You Win," "Skylark," "If I Were A Bell"/"Could Have Danced All Night," "Unusual Way," "Inappropriate Medley," "Mr. Tanner," "The Sound Of Music" and "Something Good."

Honorary Chairs were Josh Kilmer-Purcell and Brent Ridge, of Planet Green TV’s “The Fabulous Beekman Boys.”

The gala featured a silent and live auction, hors d'oeuvres and cocktails, dinner and dessert and the performance.


Founded in 1986, Riverside Park Fund is the park's non-profit conservancy organization.
