The Lyric Opera of Chicago's new production of Gluck's Orfeo ed Euridice, with countertenor David Daniels and soprano Isabel Bayrakdarian in the title roles, opened on February 25 and runs through March 26.

The production is directed by Robert Carsen, with sets and costumes by Tobias Hoheisel and lighting by Carsen and Peter Van Praet.

Ofelia Sala sings Amo. Baroque specialist Harry Bicket is the conductor.
