News   PHOTO RECALL: Lloyd Webber and Crawford Try to Make it Two for Two It may be hard for some to believe that it has been 18 years since Michael Crawford and Andrew Lloyd Webber first teamed up at Her Majesty's Theatre in London for The Phantom of the Opera. Harder still to believe is that it has also been that long since the two joined forces on a new project. That drought ended with the opening of the musical The Woman in White in the West End.

Crawford dons a fat suit in the production to portray Count Fosco, long regarded in literary circles as the most pure example of a Victorian villain that you can find on paper. London stage star Maria Friedman joins Crawford to lead the cast.
