PHOTO RECALL: Six Plays, Six People, Six Theatres

News   PHOTO RECALL: Six Plays, Six People, Six Theatres In the age of $14 million capilizations for Broadway musicals, who can blame producers for trying to find entertaining and fiscally responsible alternatives? The shows 700 Sundays (Billy Crystal), The Good Body (Eve Ensler), Whoopi (Whoopi Goldberg), Golda's Balcony (Tovah Feldshuh), Dame Edna (Barry Humphries), and Laugh Whore (Mario Cantone) were joined this season by one-person Off-Broadway hits such as bridge and tunnel and Nine Parts of Desire.
