Replacing Watts will be Canadian pianist Stewart Goodyear. The program for the orchestra's weekend subscription concerts (Oct. 13-14) remains unchanged: Shostakovich's First and Second Piano Concertos and Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 6.

The program for tonight's Philadelphia Orchestra Access Concert (a one-hour 7 pm concert with an animateur speaking about the music) is changed, however: in place of the previously announced Brahms Piano Concerto No. 2, which Watts and the orchestra performed at Carnegie Hall the night before last, Goodyear will perform the Shostakovich Concerto No. 1.
