Keenan-Bolger steps into the "Broadway Spotlight" — the series that presents concert evenings with stars of the musical theatre — at 8 PM. The singer-actress will explore the works of her favorite composers and the music that has inspired those composers. Adam Guettel, Michael John LaChiusa, Pete Mills, Dan Lipton, Gihieh Lee, David Kirshenbaum, Chris Miller and Marc Smollin have all chosen two songs for Keenan-Bolger, one original composition and one by a composer considered a great personal musical influence. The evening will also include an appearance by recent Bounce star Gavin Creel. Creel, of course, received a Tony nomination for his work in Thoroughly Modern Millie. Keenan-Bolger will be followed into the "Spotlight" by Avenue Q's John Tartaglia on April 5. Past participants in the series include Avenue Q's Ann Harada, Dance of the Vampires' Max von Essen, Les Miz’s Lauren Kennedy, Hairspray's Shoshana Bean, Into the Woods' Chad Kimball, Aida's Felicia Finley, former Rent ers Anthony Rapp and Idina Menzel and Funny Girl's Leslie Kritzer.

Celia Keenan-Bolger appeared in the Manhattan Theatre Club's production of Kindertransport, Second Stage's Little Fish and Off-Broadway's Summer of '42. She also played Johanna in the Kennedy Center's mounting of Sweeney Todd.

The Ars Nova Theater is located in Manhattan at 511 West 54th Street. Tickets are priced at $15; doors open at 7:30 PM. Call (212) 868-4444 for tickets or go to www.SmartTix.com.
