New York‘s ever-resourceful criminals have found a new scam. The NYPD is seeking a woman they say has been pickpocketing Hamilton fans as they cluster outside the stage door of the Richard Rodgers Theatre waiting for autographs.

CBSNewYork reports that the heavy-set, dark-haired woman whose image has been captured on surveillance cameras is suspected of hitting the crowd at least six times between May 25 and November 6, targeting victims’ wallets.

The suspect used stolen credit cards to ring up $2,200 worth of purchases at midtown locations, including Macy‘s, Duane Reade, and Junior’s Restaurant, which is around the corner from where Hamilton is playing.
