Emerson Steele Lives Out Loud in New Onstage Shots From Andrew Lippa's A Little Princess Emerson Steele, a Theatre World Award winner for her performance in Broadway's Violet, plays the title character in Andrew Lippa and Brian Crawley's A Little Princess at Atlanta's Theatrical Outfit.

Mira Hirsch directs a cast that features Steele as Sara Crewe, Bryant Smith as Captain Crewe, Christy Baggett as Miss Minchin, Molly Coyne as Miss Amelia, Jeanette Illidge as Aljana and Laughton Berry as Pasko.

"Privileged Sara Crewe, daughter of an adventurer in Africa, finds herself shipped away to drab Victorian-era London," according to press notes. "Though she wows her new school chums with tales of magic and mystery, she also draws the wrath of the Headmistress, Miss Minchin. When grim news arrives from afar, Sara’s charmed life crumbles, and she’s forced to become a servant. Relying on imagination, courage and inner-royalty, Sara faces adversity with the dignity of a true princess."

The show will be performed through Dec. 27 at the Balzer Theater at 84 Luckie St. NW, Atlanta, GA.
