Tony-nominated actress Melissa Errico returned to Joe's Pub Nov. 18-19  with a brand-new autobiographical cabaret show co-written with Adam Gopnik.

Entitled Sing The Silence, the evenings concern "how one singer’s descent into 100 days of silence — total silence — compelled her towards an inventory of a lifetime’s experience, on and off the stage."

The shows included songs by women songwriters such as Georgia Stitt, Marcy Heisler, Jonathan Brooke, Susan Werner, Patricia Barber, Laura Nyro, Joni Mitchell and Dorothy Parker, as well as the title song written for Errico by Gopnik and Scott Frankel; and the New York debut of music by Jeanine Tesori. There was also a sprinkling of the classic American songbook by Cole Porter, Rodgers and Hart, Stephen Sondheim and Mary Rodgers.
