C.S. Lewis’ The Great Divorce officially opened Dec. 3 at The Pearl Theatre. The show is a theatrical adaptation of Lewis' celebrated theological fantasy book, "The Great Divorce."

Helmed by Bill Castellino, performances run through Jan. 3, 2016. The Off-Broadway engagement features a cast made up of Christa Scott-Reed, Joel Rainwater and Michael Frederic.

"Based on C.S. Lewis’ classic theological fantasy about Heaven and Hell, C.S. Lewis’ The Great Divorce takes you to the outskirts of Heaven where the decision to stay or return to the familiar 'Grey Town' below proves to be harder than imagined," states a description on the show's website.
