Meg Phillips stars as the cupcake-loving title character alongside Molly Gilman (Dr. Wink), Greg Barresi (Peter Pinkerton), Mathew Pelliccia (Mr. Pinkerton) and Erin Wegner Brooks (Mrs. Pinkerton).
"Pinkalicious can't stop eating pink cupcakes despite warnings from her parents," press materials state. "Her pink indulgence lands her at the doctor's office with Pinkititis, an affliction that turns her pink from head to toe - a dream come true for this pink loving enthusiast. But when her hue goes too far, only Pinkalicious can figure out a way to get out of this predicament."
Teresa K. Pond stages the production based on Elizabeth and Victoria Kann's popular children's book, "Pinkalicious." John Gregor has penned music, lyrics, orchestrations and the book for the musical in collaboration with the Kann sisters. Pinkalicious has played previous engagements at the Vital Theatre Company and Soho Rep in 2007.
The musical is appropriate for children ages 4-12. Pinkalicious officially opens Jan. 13. Performances take place Saturdays at 2 PM and Sundays at noon through Feb. 10.
