News Pintauro's Cathedral to Play Manhattan Theatre Source; Casting Announced Casting has been announced for the upcoming production of Joe Pintauro's Cathedral, which will begin performances at Manhattan Theatre Source April 23.

Also directed by the playwright, the production will run through May 16. The cast comprises Jon Ecklund as Father Jacob Hansen, Kate Middleton as Katherine McGuire, Vincent Marano as Father Angelo Rosetti, Tom Godfrey as Francis Cardinal Hammond and Cary Woodworth as Young Jake/Will.

"Father Jake is a much-loved and respected priest," according to Cathedral press notes. "When a young hustler accuses him of inappropriate sexual conduct, he is thrown into a crisis of conscience and faith that endangers not only his vocation, but his soul and the souls of those nearest to him. Cathedral explores the eternal conflict between human nature and the religious life, in addition to the conflict inside all of us in this time of moral ambiguity and shifting standards. Who can you really trust?"
