Directed by Jenn Thompson, performances at the Utah venue are scheduled for Dec. 5-20.

"When I saw the show on Broadway, Christian's performance was inspiring," Evens told Playbill.com. "I couldn't wait to hopefully tackle it myself one day."

Rick Elice penned the play, based on the novel by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson. Music is by Wayne Barker.

"Ever wonder how Peter Pan ended up in Neverland?" press notes ask. "How Captain Hook became Peter’s arch enemy? Peter and the Starcatcher explains all this and more."
