News Pippin Actor Mike Schwitter Among Performers to Sing Music of Robbie Torres Bildungsroman - The Music of Robbie Torres will be held Feb. 2 at 7 PM at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. Pippin actor Mike Schwitter is among the evening's performers.

According to press notes, "Composer/Lyricist Robbie Torres presents an evening of original music performed by the next generation of Broadway's brightest. Bildungsroman is a debut concert covering the evolution of Robbie's writing and the stories behind his songs. Join us for an inspiring delve into the music of this rising musical theatre artist."

Performers also include Alison Alampi, Morgan Assante, Andrew Barbato, Nathaniel Beliveau, Samantha Carroll, Anthony Crouchelli, Corey Desjardins, Christian Lane Green, Spencer Kiely, Justin Luciano, John McLaughlin, Robbie Torres, Martha Wasser and Jessica Zambrotta.

The band includes Robbie Torres and Arri Lawton Simon on piano, Brian Barone on guitar, Jonathan Bloomfield on violin and Ansel Isaac Cohen on cello.

Additionally, Torres will be featured on the third episode of "The Set List" podcast to talk about his debut concert as well his journey to songwriting.

"The Set List," according to press notes, "is a comprehensive collection of the best cabaret performances in New York City, including the works of Musical Theater composers, classical favorites, and new musical readings. The Set List features live recordings of Off-Broadway concerts as well as behind the scenes interviews and conversations with select artists.
