The never-exhausted subject of the differences between the sexes takes the stage once again, this time in the form of the new Off-Broadway musical revue, Baseball, Sex and Other Facts of Life. The Paul V. Patanella (music)-Gayden Wren (book and lyrics) show explores opposing viewpoints and recreational pastimes of men and women. The songs pretty much tell the story: "Bachelor Party," "Umps' Lament," "Fugitive from Baseball," and "Don Mattingly," a torch song directed at the former Yankees hitter.
The cast includes Todd Faulkner, Mark Fitzgerald, Elissa Groh, Jennifer Hein, Joel Liestman and Rosalyn McClore. Wren also directs.
Baseball runs May 6-17 at the Kraine Theatre at 85 E. 4th St., New York. For information, call (718) 834-9662.
