Classic Arts News Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre Announces 2006-07 Season With Some Live Music Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre's 2006-07 season will include a Balanchine festival, Swan Lake, and Septime Webre's Peter Pan, the the company announced.
Also on the schedule are performances of the The Nutcracker in December and a program of short works titled "Moments & More."

Two productions, the season-opening Swan Lake and the Balanchine festival in April 2007, will include live music, as stipulated in the agreement reached with musicians last month. The PBT cut live music at the beginning of the 2005-06 season to save money, angering the musicians' union.

The company also announced that has launched a campaign to raise funds for a full restoration of live music, called "Say It With Music." It will distribute donor forms to audiences for the remainder of the current season and throughout 2006-07.
