News Pittsburgh CLO Creative Teams Include Stafford, Ivan, Repole and More Broadway performers Michael Lichtefeld and Bill Burns and Barrymore Award winner Richard Stafford will lend their expertise to the 2010 summer season at the Pittsburgh CLO.

Stafford, who choreographed Broadway's In My Life and the award-winning Walnut Street Theatre production of La Cage aux Folles, will direct and choreograph Oliver! (June 1-6).

Former North Shore Music Theatre artistic and executive director Barry Ivan will direct and choreograph both Miss Saigon (June 8-20) and Hairspray (July 20-Aug. 1).

Drama Desk-nominated choreographer Lichtefeld (Little Women, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes) will choreograph the Kander and Ebb musical Curtains (June 22-27). Charley Repole, who collaborated with Lichtefeld on the Broadway revival of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and staged Call Me Madam at Encores!, will direct.

The Tony Award-winning Mel Brooks hit The Producers (July 6-18) will be directed and choreographed by Bill Burns, who serves as the resident choreographer for the U.S. premiere of Dirty Dancing.

Sigmund Romberg's The Student Prince will have direction and choreography by James Brennan, who staged the New York Philharmonic production of My Fair Lady. Musical directors for the season are Craig Barna and Tom Helm. John McClain will serve as lighting designer.
