In a remarkable series of firsthand reports, Playbill On-Line members have been following the development of 1997's spring musicals in our Playbill Critics Circle posts, most starting from the first day of previews, through rewrites, opening night and beyond.
One of the significant points about the reports -- in some cases the very first time the shows have been discussed in a public forum -- is the profound split on literally every show. Each is drawing champions and detractors.
