As part of Playbill On-Line's ongoing efforts to bring different theatre communities together, we have launched a new section of the service devoted to theatre in Brazil.
During Playbill On-Line's two years of existence we have discovered that some of our most avid international users are from Brazil, and they have made us aware of the dynamic theatre community centered in the cities of Rio de Janiero and Sao Paulo.
We launch with listings for nearly 30 Brazilian theatres, with many more to come. We will soon add Brazilian theatre news. Our correspondent is Nertutila Negreiros Achao, a Rio resident, librarian and graduate of Santa Ursula University. She writes, "I would like to invite everybody to know my country, because it is really beautiful."
