Playbill On-Line placed its block of tickets to the 1998 Tony Awards on sale to members of the Playbill Club April 23, and the entire allotment of 200 tickets sold out within four hours.

Orders already received will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis by Janice Johnson, Director of Playbill Travel, with tickets going out by certified mail the week of May 11. Please don't call or e-mail about these tickets before that week.

Tickets to the June 7 ceremony at Radio City Music Hall will go on sale to the general public starting 10 AM May 4, by calling Ticketmaster at (212) 307-4100.

Playbill On-Line is still accepting reservations to its special pre-Tony banquet at the Warwick Hotel, hosted by Playbill's Senior Editor, Louis Botto, and featuring surprise guests.
