Nathan Bottorff: Bullets Over Broadway!!!

Based on the award-winning Woody Allen film of the same name, Bullets Over Broadway opened April 10 starring Zach Braff, Nick Cordero, Marin Mazzie and Brooks Ashmanskas. The show received six 2014 Tony Award nominations, including Best Choreography for Susan Stroman and Best Book of a Musical for Woody Allen.

A musical adaptation of the 1992 animated film of the same title, Aladdin is the fifth Disney Theatrical Productions musical to be Tony-nominated for Best Musical. It received four other Tony nominations, including Best Original Score and Best Featured Actor for James Monroe Inglehart.

Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, based on the life and music of the award-winning singer-songwriter, received seven Tony Award nominations, including Best Musical, Best Actress for Jessie Mueller, Best Featured Actress for Anika Larsen and Best Featured Actor for Jarrod Spector. Margaret Daisy Rose: One word: Hedwig.

Hedwig and the Angry Inch opened Off-Broadway in 1998 and was revived on Broadway in 2014 starring Neil Patrick Harris in the title role and Lena Hall. Both Harris and Hall received Tony nominations, and the musical was nominated for Best Revival; in total, the critically acclaimed production earned eight Tony nominations.

The 2013-14 Broadway season saw the Tony-winning musical Wicked celebrate its 10th anniversary on the Great White Way; at that time Lindsay Mendez and Ali Mauzey starred as Elphaba and Glinda, respectively. A special "greenified" Playbill was printed to commemorate this milestone anniversary.

If/Then opened on Broadway March 30, 2014, starring Tony winner Idina Menzel, Anthony Rapp, Tony winner LaChanze and Jerry Dixon. Menzel received her third Tony nomination for her performance as Elizabeth, and Tony and Pulitzer Prize winners Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey received their second nomination for Best Original Score.

Alison Loughlin: Definitely the revival of Les Miserables!!

Les Miserables opened on Broadway in 1987 and was nominated for 12 Tony Awards, winning eight, including Best Musical and Best Featured Actress for Frances Ruffelle. It was revived on Broadway in 2006 starring Norm Lewis, Daphne Rubin-Vega and Adam Jacobs. The current revival was nominated for three Tony Awards, including Best Actor for Ramin Karimloo.
