PlayBlog Playbill Video Visits Sutton Foster and the Cast of Anything Goes at the Recording Studio (Video) Tony Award winner Sutton Foster and the company of Anything Goes, the Broadway revival that has yet again extended its limited engagement, made their way to a studio on June 20 to record the cast album of the critically acclaimed revival that is currently playing at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre.

Here, Playbill.com gets a first look into the company's recording session and sits down with Foster and the rest of the show's stars including Joel Grey, who plays Moonface Martin, Colin Donnell, who plays Billy Crocker, and Lara Osnes, who plays Hope Harcourt. Foster mentions how cast recordings were her link to Broadway as a child, so she's thrilled to spread the magic of Anything Goes to those who can't make it to New York City.

Watch as the cast of the Tony Award-winning revival put on their headphones and strike up the band to record their take on Cole Porter's classic score. This production also includes a few extra treats — the verse to the ballad "Goodbye, Little Dream, Goodbye" has been added, for example, and the dance arrangements (by David Chase) are new.

The recording will be available for purchase at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre, online (http://sh-k-boom.com/anythinggoes.shtml) and digitally in late summer 2011. To submit a request to receive an email from Ghostlight when the CD is available to pre-order, click here.
