Moment you knew you wanted to perform for a living: I enjoyed getting laughs in The Sound of Music.
Favorite pre-/post- show meal: Anytime I'm in a play I go to La Masseria. The frisée salad is my favorite.
Favorite liquid refreshment: Cappuccino. I have a Nespresso machine in my dressing room.
Pre-show rituals or warm-ups: I like to take a dance class, usually hip hop, before a show.
Worst flubbed line/missed cue/onstage mishap: I was late for an entrance in August: Osage County because I was writing Valentines.
Craziest audition story: I auditioned for a horror movie once where they tied me to a chair and told me to try to escape. I didn't get the part.
Who have you played on "Law & Order"? What edition? I played a girl whose grandmother was poisoning her with mercury on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," and I was on the regular "Law & Order" twice: once playing a cancer patient and then a daughter of the murder victim.
Favorite screen/commercial gigs: I did an episode of "Criminal Minds" that was a blast to work on mainly because Matthew Gray Gubler was directing.
What drew you to this project? Sam Gold and Roundabout Theatre Company and William Inge
Most challenging role you have played: I had to play a boy for one scene in The Pillowman. It required a lot of mental preparation.
Leading lady role you've been dying to play: Emily Webb in Our Town.
Leading man role you wish you could play: Hamlet
Something about you that surprises people: My brother thinks he's Batman.
Career you would want if not a performer: I'd own a flower shop.
Three things you can't live without: My brothers and my best friend, Lindsay.
"I'll never understand why…" … my brothers don't load the dish washer.
Words of advice for aspiring performers: It's important to have other creative outlets to keep a level head as an actor.
