Carla Gugino

Gugino made her Broadway debut at Roundabout in Arthur Miller's After the Fall and returned to star in Tennessee Williams' Suddenly Last Summer. She also starred in a revival of Desire Under the Elms.

Notable screen work includes "Spin City," "Chicago Hope," "Spy Kids," "Karen Sisco," "Sin City," "Watchmen," "Night at the Museum," "Entourage," "Californication" and "Mr. Popper's Penguins."

Moment you knew you wanted to perform for a living: My first acting class in Los Angeles. I was 13. It was a "cold reading" class. In that first moment of getting to see the world through someone else's eyes, I was hooked.

Most challenging stage role you've performed: Elsa in The Road to Mecca is right up there. I am drawn to a good challenge. I find it's good to be a little scared upon embarking on a creative endeavor. Plus, it's more fulfilling when you do finally inhabit it!
