First stage kiss: Kelly Fioravante. She was my Marian and I was her Harold Hill in Music Man. T'was nice.
Favorite or most memorable onstage role as a child/teenager: Playing Grady Fliggins ("Flick") in the musical Violet under the direction of the person who originated the role Off-Broadway, the amazing Michael McElroy.
Moment you knew you wanted to perform for a living: It was after my first day of class in my freshman year at the University of Miami conservatory. I decided that night that I could spend the rest of my life learning and being fascinated by music, acting and dance.
How you got your Equity card: My first job out of college, I played Judas in the musical Godspell at Paper Mill Playhouse.
Favorite pre-show/post-show meal: The whole menu at Golden Chicken and Ribs at 43rd and 9th. I've done some damage there.
Favorite liquid refreshment: Lactaid. Weird yes, refreshing yes. Also Martenelli's apple juice. "Gimme, gimme..."
Favorite junk food: I will demolish a Krispy Kreme doughnut faster than you can swipe your Metrocard.
Pre-performance rituals or warm-ups: Shoulder rolls and a reminder to myself of how blessed I am to be performing for a living.

Something about you that surprises people: My sense of humor.
Worst flubbed line/missed cue/onstage mishap: I was on as Benny in In the Heights and I flubbed one of the Spanish to English lyrics in the song "Sunrise," with the amazing Mandy Gonzalez laughing in my face while Lin-Manuel was shaking his head in the wings. I knew I'd arrived.
Worst costume ever: I don't think I should be wearing black tights. But in a Sweet Charity production at UM, I did... along with some other really bright neon colors.
Worst job you've ever had: Construction worker in the summers of my junior and senior years of high school. Taught me toughness.
Leading man role you've been dying to play: Coalhouse in Ragtime. One day...
Favorite TV/film/commercial gig: My role as Jennifer Hudson's boyfriend in the first "Sex and the City" movie.
What career you would like to have if not a performer: A professional athlete.
Three things you can't live without: Food, positivity and music.
"I'll never understand why..." ...I can't walk past a Shake Shack without tearing up.
Words of wisdom for aspiring performers? Never take a performance for granted. There are so many talented people who would give everything to be in your position.
