Why I love theatre: Theatre has always been a part of my life. I love that the shows from all stages of my life have introduced new perspectives, provided catharsis and given me a more than a few songs to sing. Wicked, especially, was there for me at a difficult time in my life. I had cancer when I was younger, and Wicked gave me an outlet to escape and find peace.

My plans after graduation: After graduation, I hope to become an art therapist. I also love to write, and I plan on continuing to pursue that passion. Of course, I plan on seeing shows too! 

Favorite show tune: "August Winds" and "Defying Gravity" 

Favorite Actor/Actress: Again, too many! The first to come to mind were Joshua Henry and Idina Menzel.

Major: Completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Theatre Major in the Acting Specialization.

Favorite Show: It's a tie between "Glee" and "Smash" (sob RIP). My friends say that I am the real Rachel Berry. I am also Team Ivy ALL the way!

Why I Love Theatre: The ability to connect with characters on a deeply personal level. I also love to meet new characters and learn more about myself as a theatre artist with every show that I do.

My Plans After Graduation: I graduate in just one short year! I am going to apply to conservatory programs across North America. At the moment my top choices are the Atlantic Acting School in NYC, American Conservatory of Theatre in San Fransisco, and the National Theatre School in Montreal, Canada.

Why I love theatre: I love seeing a show and feeling the adrenaline from stage and the anticipation from the audience. I especially love musicals because I love the idea of using music to help tell a story.

Why I Love Theatre: I love theatre because the music and story of the shows draw you in. They transport you to new worlds, to different times. Theatre allows you to express who you are as well as watch others as they express their selves. It allows people of all variations to come together with their incredible talents and create a moving story. Theatre is magical, beautiful and wondrous. It's incredible and that's why I love it.
