News Plays by Cardona, Maldonado, Norman, Krauze, Segal and D'Amore Set for INTAR Lab INTAR has announced the six playwrights whose work will be presented as part of the free NewWorks Lab 2009.

Running June 3-8, the Lab offers free readings of plays from emerging playwrights at INTAR 52nd Street Space. The cast for the readings includes Claudia Acosta, Mando Alvarado, Nikki Calonge, Emilio Delgado, Michael Ray Escamilla, Jose Febus, Maria Helan, Maria Parra, J.J. Perez, Eddy Rimada and Liam Torres, among others. The lineup follows: Black & Blue Fruit by Ed Cardona, Jr. and directed by Ed Vassallo (June 3); Further Life and Times by Julia Rae Maldonado and directed by Mariana Carreño King (June 4); English Only by Maria Norman and directed by Jose Zayas (June 5); Mexican Utopia by Daniel Krauze and directed by Michael Ray Escamilla (June 6); The Useless Man by Yamin Segal and directed by Stefanie Sertich (June 7); and Feet First by Carlo D'Amore and directed by Keith Chappelle (June 8).
